Sharjah Metaverse
The Sharjah Department of eGovernment (DeG) embarked on a groundbreaking initiative by hosting their inaugural open day in the metaverse to convey the values of government innovation, transparency, security, and efficiency.
Developed a secure, web-based metaverse with enhanced integrations, fostering a solid foundation for interactivity and collaboration.
Designed and implemented a secure, multi-lingual registration portal, allowing users to access the metaverse through a dynamic single sign-in solution across different devices.
Created live text and voice chat integrations within the metaverse, featuring 22 dedicated chat rooms for various service categories and content topics, providing a versatile communication platform.
Integrated a customized, on-demand content management system, incorporating live video feeds into the metaverse live session room. This feature enabled real-time engagement with DeG experts, with live presentations and Q&A sessions conducted in both English and Arabic. Additionally, the content was converted into on-demand material for future accessibility.
Implemented interactive integrations for 22 service stands within the exhibition area, enhancing lead generation and engagement. Each stand offered teleportation for easy navigation, providing previews of service catalogs, policy documents, and FAQs for user interaction. Live online consultants were integrated to offer real-time communication and instant information to users.
Branch, SpaceTo, and DeG successfully orchestrated a private metaverse event, setting a new standard for government innovation. Attendees experienced a transformative, interactive environment that showcased technology-driven governance. DeG achieved its goals of educating stakeholders, launching services, and fostering collaboration, leveraging seamless technology integrations.
